Between 2:24 ET to 2:49 ET, a small percentage of TTS requests failed with error code 429. About 5 percent of resources used to generate TTS requests were affected due to a cloud configuration change that inadvertently changed the path that these requests took in the TTS pipeline.

Our engineering team has now confirmed complete resolution of the issue and will implement more robust configuration failsafes and alerts to prevent similar issues moving forward.
